Australia Zoo is located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast near the Glasshouse Mountains, approximately 45 minutes north of Brisbane. Located on over 70 acres of natural Australian bushland the Zoo is home to over 1000 native and exotic species that can't wait to get up close and personal with you!

Your visit to the home of the Crocodile Hunter will amaze and entertain you! While enjoying your day at this Sunshine Coast attraction, keep your eye out for the unique wandering wildlife program or the chance to have your photograph taken cuddling a koala or for the adventurous, wrapped in a giant python!

Australia Zoo features a variety of animal enclosures, lush gardens and amazing wildlife. From Australia`s cuddly koalas, waddling wombats, slithering snakes, cute kangaroos, or cheeky cheetahs and ripper rhinos, with hands-on encounters there is always a variety of exciting wildlife to see.

You can come face to face with our majestic tigers, get your photo taken with a baby alligator or watch a crocodile launch its strike from the waters edge.

At Australia Zoo, you even have the opportunity to have your very own intimate animal experience! You can hand feed a giant tortoise or gorgeous Aisan Elephant, waddle with a wombat and even meet the lemurs exclusively behind the scenes.

Australia Zoo offers a whole day of wildlife action and adventure! Watch slithering snakes, beautiful free flight birds and crocodiles launch a strike in the 5000 seat Crocoseum. Australia Zoo offers other exciting daily shows including the cuddly koalas, cheeky Asian Otters, birds of prey and the beautiful tigers are on display at the Tiger Temple all day.
